This photographic installation emerged from the international conference Fronteras: Imágenes más allá del fin del mundo, held in Ushuaia in November 2023 and organized by the University of Buenos Aires. The conference explored the relationship between images and borders, understood as spaces that make subaltern voices, forms of resistance and alternative narratives visible.
Out of this collective reflection emerged GAEA, an intervention and photographic installation exploring the places where Gordon Pym was believed to have disappeared. The photographic work is accompanied by a text that reflects on the relationship between the image and the breath of the world.
